মঙ্গলবার ভোররাতে ওয়ারাঙ্গলে পুলিসের গুলিতে ২ মাওবাদীর নিহত হওয়ার ঘটনাকে ভুয়ো সংঘর্ষ বলে অভিযোগ করলেন ভারভারা রাও। নিহত দুই মাওবাদীর দেহ ময়নাতদন্তের জন্য হাসপাতালে নিয়ে এলে সেখানে মানবাধিকার সংগঠন ও বুদ্ধিজীবীরা বিক্ষোভ দেখান। বিশাল পুলিসি ঘেরাটোপের মধ্যে হাসপাতালে ময়না তদন্ত হয় নিহতদের। পুলিস দাবি করেছিল মঙ্গলবার ভোররাতে ওয়ারঙ্গলের জঙ্গলে তাঁদের সঙ্গে সংঘর্ষের জেরেই মৃত্যু হয় ওই ২ মাওবাদীর।
