Nizamuddin Motin, a whole time revolutionary and Maoist leader, died at a hospital in Dhaka at 12pm, 11 August 2019 after suffering from prolonged illness. Nizamuddin was born at Alekanda in Barisal in 1955. He joined Purbobanglar Sormik Andolon (East Bengal Workers Movement), led by Siraj Shikder, in 1969. As a Maoist leader, he had been working to free the poor peasants and workers over five decades. A discussion will be held at 4pm, 18 October 2019 at RC Majumder Hall, University of Dhaka upholding the contribution of this whole time revolutionary attended by intellectuals and leaders from several revolutionary organizations.
